On the sidelines of the visit of BASF's EMEA President, Dr. Katja Scharpwinkel, to Hungary in September, the DUIHK and BASF Hungária Kft. would like to invite you to the next event of Women@DUIHK series talking about D&I.
Research has shown many benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace: higher revenue growth, greater readiness to innovate, increased ability to recruit a diverse talent pool, higher employee retention. An inclusive workplace doesn’t just have a diversity of people present, it has a diversity of people involved, developed, empowered and trusted by the business.
The difference between diversity, inclusion and belonging is that diversity is the representation of different people in an organization, inclusion is ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to and influence every part and level of a workplace, and belonging is ensuring that everyone feels safe and can bring their full, unique selves to work, in short: Diversity is being invited to the party, Inclusion is being asked to dance, Belonging is dancing like no one is watching.
Dr. Katja Scharpwinkel will talk about her personal D&I journey followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders in Hungary.
